Hi,

Had a strange experience this morning in that when I went to sync for 1 known update Simsync wanted to re sync my full install.

Not sure if this is a result of a server update or change at your end, something with my system, or simply computer voodoo??

Anyway, I just re-synced everything

Thx

Just to add to this, several other members have also had to re-sync the full 1.7gb of data

Thanks for the information.
At the moment i don't know why this is happening to you and your members. We had no change at our system for quite a while now.
Do you know which server you used to sync (srv1, srv2, srv3)?
Which SimSync PRO version do you use?
Did you have a change in your system time (switch from/to DST (Daylight Saving Time))?
Any new updates installed?

After re-syncing this morning I just went and checked again and according to srv2 I need to fully sync again.

Retried and srv1 also tells me to fully sync.

I preferred main server (is that srv1?) and again I'm told I need to sync

Did you upload any new or updated files to the sync before you indexed the last time?
btw. Yes, main server = srv1

I'll running the sync here locally to see if i can reproduce your problem.
Could you please answer my questions from above?

Which SimSync PRO version do you use?
Did you have a change in your system time (switch from/to DST (Daylight Saving Time))?
Any new updates installed?

OK this version is the last released beta (2) and there are some issues with this one.
I already have a newer version, which isn't released till now, but hopefully fixes the issues of the beta and also you issues.
Dev.Build: simsyncpro3935.zip
The last released "stable" version is 3.5.4, which you can find here: https://www.simsync.de/download.php?view.227
This one should work without problems.

Thx Achim. Both versions still say I need to sync all of the FVRSupercars2012 & Tracks files, but the other 3 show as all being up to date? Very strange

Well that fixed it!
Ran and synced in debug mode and only required files synced.

Turned debug mode off and no files were queued to sync so all now seems good.

Thx

Cancel that. I updated 1 file, re-indexed the sync and now it wants to sync everything again, even in debug mode

Could you please send me the SimSyncPro_Debug.log to achim@simsync.de ?

(edit) Could you please use the attached version (with Debug-mode enabled) and send the resulting log to me by mail, please?
simsyncpro3547.zip

Maybe the whole thing is related to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leap_second
At the moment, i don't know how it influences the sync, i hope you'll send me a debug log from the sync version i posted before.
Could you please check if your time is syncronized? You can check this by double clicking on the clock in the taskbar and check if you have enabled to "Automatically synchronize with an internet timeserver".
